To enter the Green Card Lottery program you must have been born in a country with a low immigration rate to the United States. Do I still have a chance to apply if I was born in a non-eligible country?

Yes, if you were born in one of the non-qualifying countries, you may still be able to participate in the USA Green Card Lottery:

If your spouse (husband or wife) was born in a qualifying country, you can claim your spouse's country of birth.

If both of your parents were born in a qualifying country and did not live (resided) in your country at the time of your birth, you can claim any of your parents' country of birth.

What are the work experience or education requirements?

To enter the USA Green Card Lottery Program you must qualify with either the education or the work experience requirement.

OR
2. You must have two years of work experience, within the past five years, in a job that required at least two years of training.

Remember that you will not need to submit proof that you satisfy these requirements when submitting your Green Card Lottery entry - however, it will be requested if you are selected as a winner.

What is the passport requirement?

Due to new requirements, Green Card Lottery applicants are now required to submit their passport details: passport number, country of issuance and expiration date. Unless stateless or unable to obtain one as a national of a Communist-controlled country.

My family received our green cards! Your website actually played a vital role in delivering this opportunity for us. We filled out the online registration forms on the government’s site on our own for few years without success ... At first, we were not certain that regular email updates we received were for real, but once your website said we won and the official DV-lottery website delivered the same results, we realized that those updates were for real. Your services really delivered the results!

I am truly grateful to the team at USAGCL for all their help and assistance in guiding me through the process of my green card lottery entry. I work in the film industry in Australia and it's always been a dream to move to LA and work in Hollywood. Thanks to USAGCL my dream is not far from fruition. I entered the lottery in 2013 and I won in my first year! I couldn't believe it, especially as I had heard so many stories of people failing again and again year in and year out. When I had trouble filling out my application a consultant called me from their offices in the States and walked me through the whole process. He provided me with all the information I needed and his contact details for any further enquiries. He really went above and beyond to make it clear and easy for me. So Tinseltown here I come!
